Morty is the main character and the main protagonist of Morty Kombat, another series made by LowBrow Studios.
History[]
Morty is an extremely dorky and naive cubicle worker who first appeared in We're Back!, where Sonic and co. hired him to help them code the game they're making, leading Dr. Eggman welcoming him to the team. However, after Jim gets drunk, he starts getting jealous about Morty and feels like he "takes his spot", but Morty informs Jim that he's only their to help code the game (which he says he's not getting paid for) Jim then starts to brag by saying he could do lots of stuff which he then does a jump and then shoots Morty, literally blowing off his head. Realizing his mistake, Jim then starts to recall Morty getting chopped in half and still being alive and that he's fine. However, the Mortal Kombat announcer tells Jim that Morty would have survived if he was in the game, meaning Morty is dead permanently. As such, Jim disguises himself as Morty, but his cover was blown when a brainwashed Eggman tossed him out of his fortress in "Back Together", severing Morty's body in half.
